A desclassificação de vários parlamentares de direita que respondem a acusações criminais abriu espaço para a esquerda deslanchar na primeira parcial da votação do Prêmio Congresso em Foco 2024. Boletim fechado às 15h30 desta quarta-feira (3) mostra que, naquele momento, deputados do Psol ocupavam sete das dez primeiras colocações. Os outros três eram do PDT, do PT e do PCdoB.
Quem largou na frente na categoria “Melhores na Câmara” foi a deputada Erika Hilton (Psol-SP), seguida por Sâmia Bomfim (Psol-SP) e Guilherme Boulos (Psol-SP), pré-candidato à prefeitura de São Paulo. No Senado, são petistas sete dos dez primeiros colocados. De acordo com a primeira parcial, a liderança é de Fabiano Contarato (PT-ES); Humberto Costa (PT-PE) e Paulo Paim (PT-RS) aparecem em segundo e terceiro lugar, respectivamente.

Muita coisa ainda pode mudar na votação. O processo de escolha dos melhores parlamentares do ano prossegue até o dia 31. Até a conclusão do primeiro boletim, 281 mil votos haviam sido validados, após auditagem interna do Congresso em Foco e externa, a cargo da Associação Nacional dos Peritos Criminais Federais (APCF).

Serão premiados os 25 deputados e os 15 senadores mais votados pela internet. Também serão agraciados os cinco parlamentares mais votados por região geográfica.
PublicidadeAlém do público na internet, também apontarão os melhores do ano um júri especializado e um grupo de 25 jornalistas que cobrem o Congresso. Além dos “Melhores na Câmara” e dos “Melhores no Senado”, os jurados vão indicar os vencedores de três categorias especiais: Apoio à Indústria, oferecida pela Agência Brasileira de Desenvolvimento Industrial (ABDI), Clima e Sustentabilidade, apoiada pelo Instituto Democracia e Sustentabilidade (IDS), e Cidades Inteligentes, concedida pelo Ibrachina.
Os premiados serão conhecidos em cerimônia a ser realizada em 29 de agosto. Fique ligado porque, a qualquer momento, divulgaremos novas parciais. A última, conforme o regulamento, será publicada em 17 de julho.
Disputam o prêmio todos os parlamentares, exceto aqueles que:
– respondem a processos de improbidade administrativa ou a acusações criminais perante o Judiciário;
– tenham feito, por meio de atos ou declarações, apologia à tortura, à violência ou outras práticas em flagrante confronto com o Estado Democrático de Direito e o respeito aos direitos humanos.
– também foram excluídos aqueles que, convidados a participar do evento de premiação em anos anteriores, deixaram de comparecer à cerimônia duas vezes ou mais.
Os nomes foram definidos após pesquisa do Congresso em Foco nas páginas de tribunais de todo o país. A exclusão do prêmio não implica qualquer pré-julgamento em relação às acusações contra os congressistas.
