O deputado federal Júlio Cesar (PSD-PI) afirmou que o presidente da República Jair Bolsonaro garantiu a ele uma reação para que o Banco do Brasil (BB) não feche nenhuma agência.
O parlamentar esteve com o presidente no Palácio do Planalto nesta terça-feira (19) e publicou em suas redes sociais vídeos sobre os temas tratados na reunião.
No vídeo sobre o banco, Júlio César se direciona “aos prefeito e ao povo do Piauí” e afirma que a instituição é do governo e que nos últimos anos o BB tem apresentado os melhores resultados.

Em 11 de janeiro, o Banco do Brasil apresentou ao mercado plano de desativação de 361 unidades ainda no primeiro semestre deste ano – sendo 112 agências, sete escritórios e 242 postos de atendimento.
O banco de capital misto anunciou também uma reorganização dos quadros e um Plano de Demissão Voluntária que deve atingir cerca de 5 mil funcionários.
Após o anúncio, organizações que representam funcionários do Banco do Brasil e do sistema bancário criticaram a decisão a empresa e criticaram a falta de transparência. O presidente da Associação Nacional dos Funcionários do Banco do Brasil (Anabb), Reinaldo Fujimoto, afirmou: “Em nenhum momento a diretoria do Banco do Brasil ouviu as entidades que representam os funcionários”.
A bancada do PT na Câmara também reagiu dizendo que fará “todos os esforços legais, jurídicos, legislativos e de mobilização social e política a fim de barrar a entrega do Banco do Brasil aos ‘tubarões’ do mercado financeiro”.
Segundo outro vídeo postado pelo deputado federal mostra que, além de Bolsonaro, participaram da reunião os ministros Eduardo Pazuello (Saúde), Rogério Marinho (Desenvolvimento Regional) e Luiz Eduardo Ramos (Secretaria de Governo).
Na gravação, Bolsonaro se refere a Júlio Cesar como um “velho amigo do parlamento” e afirma que as reivindicações feitas pelo deputado são “bastante procedentes”. Veja:
